Technical support maintenance
Technical Support & Maintenance
A monthly block of dev hours and a committed response time — ready when you need it.
Not "reach out and we'll see what we can do." A defined block of development hours, a committed response time, and a fixed monthly invoice. Available for systems we built and for ones someone else did.
The problem
Something broke, and you don't have a developer to call.
Software doesn't stay fixed. Updates break integrations. Security patches need applying. A feature that worked last month doesn't work this month. A plugin update conflicts with your theme. Your hosting provider migrated your server and something stopped working. If you don't have an in-house developer, you face one of two options: post a job on a freelancer platform and wait, or call the original developer — who may no longer be available, may not remember your system, and may charge for the time to re-familiarise themselves. A productized retainer is the third option. A fixed monthly block of hours, a committed response time, and a team that either built your system or has taken the time to understand it.
What you get
What the retainer includes
Three tiers — Starter, Pro, Studio — with fixed monthly hours, committed response times, and a single point of contact who knows your system.
- Starter ($299/mo) — 3 hours/mo, response within 1 business day. Bug fixes, minor updates, content changes.
- Pro ($599/mo) — 7 hours/mo, same business day response, up to 2 hours rollover. Bug fixes, updates, small feature additions, security patches.
- Studio ($1,199/mo) — 15 hours/mo, 4-hour response, up to 4 hours rollover. Full scope: features, integrations, performance, security, monitoring.
- A single point of contact who knows your system — not a support ticket queue where a different agent reads your issue each time.
Who this is for
Is this right for you?
You have a working website, web application, or integration — built by us or someone else — that needs a known, reliable developer available on a regular basis. The Starter tier is right for a business website or small web app that's stable but occasionally needs minor fixes. The Pro tier is right for an active application or WooCommerce store that gets regular updates. The Studio tier is right for a business-critical application that cannot afford extended downtime. Also works for systems built by a developer who is no longer available.

Deliverables
Exactly what you receive
Everything below transfers to you on project completion.
- A monthly summary of work performed: what was done, how many hours were used, what's remaining
- All changes deployed to your live environment — no sitting in a staging branch waiting for you to approve minor updates
- Security patches and dependency updates applied proactively — we tell you, we don't ask permission for routine maintenance
- A single point of contact who knows your system — not a support ticket queue
How it works
From brief to delivery
Onboard
You provide access to your system (admin, FTP/SSH, repository). We review the codebase, document what we find, and flag any immediate issues. For systems we built, this step is minimal.
Week 1Monthly cycle
You submit requests by email. We respond within the committed time and work through them in priority order. You receive a task summary mid-month if your hours are running low.
OngoingMonthly summary
At the end of each billing cycle, you receive a summary of work completed, hours used, and hours remaining (including any rollover).
End of each monthAdjust or cancel
Upgrade or downgrade your tier with 14 days' notice. Cancel at any time with 14 days' notice before the next cycle.

“My original developer disappeared. Finding someone new, getting them up to speed, explaining the whole system every time something small needed fixing — it was exhausting. The maintenance retainer means I have one person who knows exactly how everything is set up. I send an email, it gets fixed. That's it.”
